Warranty, Support & Returns

Warranties:

  • All products offered by TelpaTech has a minimum of 1 year (12 months) warranty from date of purchase. 
  • Demo laptops are also offered with remainder of manufacturer warranty, which will be warranted by the relevant manufacturer. These warranties will be covered on a per-item bases in the item listing.
  • Covered under warranty: any hardware/component failure (pending inspection by our technicians).
  • A warranty claim can be made by contacting us at support@telpatech.co.za and including your order number as reference along with a description of your issue. Warranty claims will be processed within 7 business days. 
  • The item will first be shipped back to us, and a technical assesment/inspection will follow. A feedback report will be sent to you with the technical assesment results.  
  • If, after inspection, it is found that buyer error is to blame for the fault, the buyer will be charged with the costs to repair + shipping costs. Buyer faults will include negligence like dropped/damaged items, water or surge/electrical damage or hardware changes made by the buyer.
  • If the claim is valid, you will be given the option for a full refund or to replace the faulty item with a replacement
  • Please note that the original packaging and charger (in case of laptops) is required for a warranty claim to be valid, since the item will have to be tested nad shipped again

Support:

  • If you require technical support for your product, you can contact our support division at: support@telpatech.co.za, and we will assist you directly.
  • Technical support includes any matter relating to issues experienced with your hardware, such as faulty screen, keyboard, webcam, speakers, touchpad, ports or other hardware related problems
  • Please note that technical support does not include setup & configuration of software like anti-virus, system updates etc. Software remains the sole responsibility of the buyer

Returns:

  • In the event that you do experience hardware failure and need to return a product, all costs to ship & repair the product is covered by us!
  • We will arrange with you a suitable date for our couriers to collect the item from your address and return it to our technicians for inspection and repairs.
  • The item will then be shipped back to you after repairs have been carried out, or a replacement item will be sent if repairs not possible. Should repairs not be possible or a replacement item not available, a full refund will be made to you.
  • You have a 7-day money-back guarantee as well: you may return a product if it is not exactly as listed
  • Products may not be returned if you changed your mind
